The membership card for the Canadian Poker League is issued by the local poker league.  Each local Franchise or Affiliated group will assess their own annual membership fee.  To be eligible for Canadian Poker League prizes, the member must be a card-carrying member of the Canadian Poker League, and must have an active account and Player ID with either Party Poker or bwin.

Note:  Membership fees are used locally for the purchase and maintenance of supplies and equipment necessary to offer a quality poker tournament series.  None of the revenue derived from memberships is used for league prizes.

Membership in the Canadian Poker League is purely optional.  A player can participate in CPL events without the requirement of obtaining a membership card, however, the player will not be eligible for national league prizes.

Non-CPL members can play the National Home Game Series, but they will not be eligible for series points.

A player who wishes to become a card-carrying member of the Canadian Poker League but does not have a local Franchise or Affiliated league to play, can purchase a membership card from the national organization.  Simply use the CONTACT US form.

Complete the New Player Registration Form(below) and your contact information will be forwarded to your local Tournament Director.  You can expect to hear back within 48 hours.
